History & the Founder
It all began with a heartfelt idea. Founder Lauren Lozano first crafted a look-back video for her son’s preschool class, gathering photos and videos from fellow parents for an end-of-year celebration. The joy it brought inspired her to create keepsakes for family vacations, holidays, birthdays, weddings, and celebrations of life. Seeing how much these videos meant to others, Lauren realized that with the help of her skilled video editor as well as AI technology, she could transform everyday moments into beautifully preserved memories. The Recollective was born out of her passion for helping people relive life’s most joyful experiences, preserving memories that truly nourish the soul.
