Wedding Video: Mitch & Francesca
Francesca and Mitchell were married in October 2023. Without a videographer on hand, a family friend captured some of the most important moments of the day using an iPhone. To create their wedding video, we combined those heartfelt clips with professional photographs from their photographer, along with additional images sourced from friends and family. The result is a beautifully crafted film that captures the essence of their magical day.

In this video, we utilized AI to seamlessly expand select images to a full horizontal screen, added subtle lighting effects to enhance key moments, and designed a custom Polaroid-style recap for the ending, giving it a unique and nostalgic touch.
Wedding Video: Ashley & Roman
In 2021, my dear friend Ashley had her dream wedding. A year later, as I began building The Recollective, I thought, “I’d love to create a wedding video for her.” Even though the wedding had already passed, I reached out to Ashley, and together we gathered photos and videos from her friends and family. The final video beautifully reconstructs the magic of Ashley and Roman’s celebration, allowing us all to relive the joy of that special day.
Special features: This video combines a photo slideshow with video editing. My favorite part is the “Party” section, where we used a parallax effect to add a 3D touch to static images, truly bringing the celebration to life.
Celebration of Life Video: Eden
This celebration of life video captures the remarkable journey of Eden, a courageous and loving soul who inspired everyone around her. Featuring moments from her childhood, travels, and unforgettable times with friends, each memory is set to Eden's favorite songs, creating a deeply personal tribute. From her radiant smile to her resilient spirit, the video honors Eden’s life, love, and strength. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts, reminding us of the beauty and impact she brought to this world.
Special features: This tribute combines a photo slideshow with video elements. We included footage from many family vacations, creating a lively "travel music video" set to a Hall & Oates song. For the memorial, held in a movie theater, we created a “credits” section to honor donors and concluded with “bonus footage” of Eden, capturing her spirit and bringing warmth to the event's cinematic feel.
Celebration of Life video: Gilbert
This celebration of life video honors Gilbert, a passionate man who lived for family, and a love for his Italian heritage. From his early days as an immigrant building a life in America with his wife and daughter, to his career at Southern Pacific Railroad, and his deep love for travel, and Italian food, Gilbert embraced life fully. With moments from family gatherings, European travels, and time spent at the tennis courts, this video captures his love for adventure, learning, and tradition. His legacy of strength, warmth, and joy lives on in those who loved him.
Special features: Designed to play during a luncheon, this video has a longer runtime to complement the background ambiance.
